General Terms and Conditions for Participation

The Wall Paper Sticker Design-Competition is run by design3000 GmbH, represented by design3000 Managers Frank Levita and Felix Vay, Robert-Bosch-Str. 14, 64711 Erbach, Germany, Telephone: +49 (0)6062-9187220, Fax: +49 (0)6062-9187218, www.design3000.de, email: info@ www.design3000.de, register court: Amtsgericht Darmstadt, register number: HRB 71307, sales tax IDNo.: DE 201696664, hereinafter referred to as „design3000“.

1. General information
design3000 is running a competition to design Wall Paper Stickers made of vinyl foil from October 8th until November 23rd 2007.

2. Registration
A valid participation in the competition requires correct completion of the registration form as well as the upload of a motive which conforms to the technical requirements (see # 8 – Technical Requirements). Each participant may submit only one design. With registration and submit of the registration form by pressing the „Register“-Button the participant acknowledges the following Conditions of Participation.

3. Registration Deadline
The registration deadline for participation (registration and upload of motive) is November 23rd 2007, 12:00h.

4. The Winner
Three prizes will be awarded. The first prize is endowed with € 1000, the second prize with € 500, and the third prize with € 250.

5. Evaluation, Jury
The jury consists of Dirk Weimar (design3000), Markus Gogolin (designspotter), Frederik Flötotto (brands) and Stephan Koziol (koziol). The entries will be especially evaluated on their originality and individuality. There is no theme or special subject given. Both, motives which integrate room elements as well as free-standing motives are allowed to be submitted. The winners will be informed by design3000 on November 27th 2007. All other participants who unfortunately will not have won any of the prizes will also be informed on that day.

6. Legal Usage of designs
design3000 is willing to produce and sell all winning designs. design3000 will contact the concerned participants in order to negotiate the usage rights.

7. Data protection
The participant's personal data submitted for the registration will not be passed on to third parties. By registering for the competition, the registered participant gives its permission to store its personal data (name, address, email) in a database and to use it for the purpose of the realisation of the competition. The participant has the right to gratuitously access its personal data held by design3000 and, where required to correct, lock, or delete any of the data.

8. Technical Instructions
The Wall Paper Stickers are made of an adhesive vinyl foil, which can be sticked to a wall or wherever it fits and sticks to. Depending on the motive the Wall Paper Stickers are being placed on the wall as single elements or by the use of a carrier foil. The following instructions on motive and data format must be strictly adhered to:

Data format: EPS or AI
Additional picture in JPG-format, which shows the motive in use on the wall
Maximum size per motive: 2 m²
Maximum of 5 colours per motive
No transparencies
No colour gradients
No open paths
No lines/areas thinner than 2mm!

9. Miscellaneous
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The ineffectiveness of one or several clauses in these general terms and conditions does not affect the effectiveness of the remainder of this agreement.
