These cheeky brothers can be easily filled, from the bottom, with salt and pepper. After use, simply place the Banana Bros back into their banana boat and the speedy, spicy ride can go on.
 
The hand painted set includes one boat and two shakers. The Banana Bros set is part of the OrienTales series by Alessi which was designed in collaboration with the National Palace Museum Taiwan.
 
The Banana Bros were decorated with the Design Plus Award 2009.

I think that this will be the goal of design in the future (or at least, my goal for my future in the sphere of
design): transforming the gadget function ascribed to objects by the consumer's society into a transitional
opportunity, namely into an opportunity for consumers to improve their perception of the world.

 as a means of grasping the so-called reality of the world and of life to its full extent.
